Goat Polyclonal Antibody Development
The Goat is an interesting host to develop polyclonal antibodies when a large amount of serum is required.
Standard protocol:
- Peptide design (free of charge)
- Peptide(s) synthesis or recombinant protein production
- KLH Conjugation (or any other carrier) if necessary
- Collection of pre-immune serum
- Immunizations of one goat for 80 days
- Delivery of minimum 300 ml of immune serum
- Other option : Affinity purification against the antigen or protein G
NB : As the development of polyclonal antibody is custom made, we can adapt our protocol to any situation or specific needs in order to better suit your required specifications. For instance, we can offer a rapid protocol of 1 to 2 months with titres follow-ups, we can co-immunize with several peptides according to the nature of your projects…etc.
